When we were back home for the Holidays my Mom decided to
make Schweine Schnitzel, which is like Weiner Schnitzel, but made with pork
instead of veal. This is a much more affordable option, especially if you are
making it for a crowd like we were! There are a lot of steps but it’s so worth
it!
Tips: Use paper plates for the flour and crackers, this way there is less mess to clean up! Place plastic wrap under and over the pork before you pound it out!

Here’s what you’ll need:
Boneless Porkchops
6 Eggs
3/4 cup Flour
Saltine Crackers, crushed
Salt & Pepper to taste
Oil for cooking
Lemons
Here’s how you make it:
First slice your pork chops in half, and then pound them to
about a ¼ inch thickness. Then make up 3 different stations. One plate with
flour, one with eggs, and one for the crackers. Take the pork chops and dredge
it in the flour first, then the egg and then the crackers. Meanwhile heat a griddle
or skillet with oil over medium heat. Place the pork onto the griddle and brown
on each side, cooking until the meat is no longer pink. Squirt lemon juice over
the schnitzel. Serve with noodles or potatoes.
ENJOY!
This sounds really good!
